Terms of Service
Last updated: [date]
These terms apply when you order a personalized game from Play My Gift, run by [owner full name / business name], [country]. Orders are placed through our Etsy shop, so Etsy’s own terms and purchase protection apply too.
What you get
A small browser game built from the content you send us, delivered as a private link. It plays on modern phones, tablets and computers without an app or account.
Timing
We deliver within the time shown in the listing, counted from the moment we receive your completed order form. If you need the game by a specific date, choose the rush option or tell us before ordering.
Your content
- You confirm you have the right to use every photo and text you send, and that the people shown agree to it.
- You keep all rights to your content. You give us permission to use it only to build and host your game.
- We may refuse content that is illegal, hateful, sexual, violent or infringes someone else’s rights.
- We do not use copyrighted characters, logos or music you do not own.
Changes
Sweet includes one round of changes; Sweet Plus and A whole story include two. Changes (texts, photos, colors, order of moments) can be asked within 14 days of delivery. Bigger changes, like a different story, may cost extra; we will tell you before doing them.
Our promise
If something in your game does not match what you ordered or what you sent us, we fix it at no cost, beyond the included rounds. If we still cannot deliver what was described, you get a full refund.
Gift cards
A gift card can be used for the game size it was bought for, within 12 months of purchase. Timing starts when the order form is sent. Gift cards cannot be exchanged for cash.
24-hour delivery
With the 24-hour option, the game is ready within 24 hours after we receive the complete form. If we miss it, we refund the extra fee.
Refunds
Because every game is made just for you, we cannot accept returns once work has started. If something is wrong with your game, write to us and we will fix it. If we cannot deliver what was described, you get a full refund through Etsy or the payment provider you used.
The private link
- Anyone who has the link can open the game screen; the secret question protects the content.
- We keep the game online for [12 months] after delivery.
- Please do not share the link publicly if the game contains private photos.
Our work
The game engine, design and code belong to Play My Gift. Your game is for personal, non-commercial use. If any artwork in a game is made with AI tools, we say so in the listing.
Liability
We do our best to keep games online and working, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. Our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it, except where the law does not allow such a limit.
